Blueberry Coconut Super Smoothie for Bodybuilding Diet or Weight Loss.
Eating healthy, unless you on the calorie-counting bodybuilding diet, or detoxing, or just trying to eat a better diet, is time-consuming. On a busy day, it is so much easier to order a pizza, or Indian take out. Making homemade protein bars, blended soups, smoothies & juices takes commitment and effort or maybe not?
You can use the low-calorie smoothies as meal replacements, in a matter of 10 minutes.
2 Glasses of Blueberry Coconut Super Smoothie:
1 Cup fresh or frozen Blueberries (Vitamin C, A and Anti-oxidants)
1/2 Cup Coconut water
Chunk fresh Ginger, minced
Juice from 1 Lime (Vitamin C)
3 tbsp Coconut flakes or Powder (Protein and good fat)
Some Almond flakes or
3 tbsp of Almond Meal (Protein and good fat)
You may add scoop of Whey Protein.
Stevia Extract – natural sugar replacement to sweeten the taste. If you can’t get Stevia, use Honey.
Fresh coconuts are superfoods, they delicious and good for you. They’re an excellent source of potassium and other minerals, which makes coconut water or juice a superior electrolyte source to other sports drinks. I love to drink the coconut water, eat the coconut meat and coconut is my favorite liquid base for many smoothie recipes.
Some very young coconuts can look pink, but are okay to eat despite the pinkness. On the other hand, coconuts should not be eaten if they smell bad and look spoiled. When gone bad, they can look gray in color and can really smell bad. But when they’re good, not too young or too mature, they are refreshing and super tasty.
